Welcome to Silversmith’s new blog. We thought it was about time we had a place to share our thoughts, methodologies and experiences on the devising of dance theatre through collaborative practice.
Silversmith are currently working towards future performances and maybe a tour for Thou Shalt (as a double bill with Hagit Yakira Dance), which we will keep you posted on, and artistic director Lorraine Smith is about to start an exciting commission with Playgrounds Dance Company (with connecting blog by Matt Gough, company dramaturge and artistic director). PERFORMANCES:
Commissioned work On Screen / Off Screen for Playgrounds Dance Company will be premiered alongside Thou Shalt on the 21st February. A great chance to see two current works by Silversmith Dance Theatre.
